About These Terms & Website Purpose

These Website Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of https://pllanaroofs.com and any related web forms operated by Pllana Roofing LLC ("Pllana," "we," or "us"). The purpose of this website is to provide information about our project-management and contractor-coordination services and to allow homeowners in Pinellas County, Florida to request a free consultation or estimate.

Pllana Roofing LLC is a Florida limited liability company providing home-improvement project management, contractor coordination, and contractor referral services. We are not a licensed Florida roofing, general, or specialty contractor. We do not perform regulated construction work.

By using this website or submitting a form, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the website or submit a request.

Permissible Use & Intellectual Property

You may use this website for personal, non-commercial purposes to learn about our services and to request a consultation. You may not scrape, copy, redistribute, or republish website content without our written permission.

All trademarks, logos, and content on this site are the property of Pllana Roofing LLC or their respective owners. The names of third-party service providers and contractors are provided for informational purposes only.

Estimate & Consultation Process

Submitting a form on this website is a request for a free consultation or estimate. It is not a construction contract, a project-management agreement, or a binding commitment of any kind. No service relationship is created until both you and Pllana sign a separate written project-management agreement.

Online estimates generated by our Instant Estimator tool are non-binding approximations based on information you provide. Actual project costs are determined only after an in-person assessment by a licensed contractor and the execution of a written construction contract between you and that contractor.

If you request an in-person consultation, a Pllana representative (not a licensed contractor) may visit your property to assess project scope. Any in-person visit fee, if applicable, will be disclosed before the visit and is separate from any construction contract you may later enter with a licensed contractor.

Pllana's Role vs. the Contractor's Role

Pllana provides project-management, contractor-coordination, and contractor-referral services. We help you organize your project, coordinate estimates from licensed contractors, facilitate communication, and monitor progress.

We do not perform construction work. We do not pull permits. We do not supply labor or materials. We do not provide construction warranties. We do not enter into construction contracts with homeowners. All regulated construction work is contracted with and performed by appropriately licensed and insured Florida contractors selected by you, the homeowner.

The construction contract is between you and the licensed contractor — not between you and Pllana. The contractor is responsible for permits, labor, materials, workmanship warranties, and construction payments. Pllana's role is limited to coordination and oversight as described in a separate project-management agreement.

We may receive a referral fee or other compensation from a contractor when you engage that contractor. We will disclose any such referral arrangement to you before you sign a construction contract, to the extent required by applicable Florida law.

Licensing & Insurance

Pllana Roofing LLC is not a licensed Florida roofing, general, or specialty contractor under Chapter 489, Florida Statutes. We do not hold ourselves out as a licensed construction contractor.

Pllana carries general liability insurance. A certificate of insurance is available upon request. We do not represent or guarantee any specific coverage amount or that our insurance covers construction work performed by third-party contractors.

All contractors we coordinate with are expected to carry their own Florida contractor licenses and insurance. We encourage every homeowner to independently verify any contractor's license and insurance through the Florida Department of Business and Professional Regulation (DBPR) before signing a construction contract.

Insurance Claims — What We Do and Do Not Do

Pllana does not file insurance claims on behalf of homeowners. We do not negotiate with insurance adjusters. We do not determine insurance coverage. We do not guarantee insurance claim approvals, settlement amounts, or timelines. We do not act as a public adjuster under Section 626.854, Florida Statutes.

We may help you organize documentation — such as photos, written notes, and contractor estimates — that you can provide to your own insurance company. We may facilitate communication between you, a contractor, and your insurer at your request, but you remain solely responsible for all communications with your insurance provider.

If you need assistance with insurance coverage decisions, claim valuation, or dispute resolution with your insurer, we encourage you to consult a licensed Florida public adjuster or an attorney. We do not provide legal or insurance-coverage advice.

Construction Notices & Warranties

Construction-specific statutory notices — including lien warnings under Chapter 713, Florida Statutes, roof-related disclosures, and right-to-cancel notices — apply to the construction contract between you and a licensed contractor, not to Pllana's project-management services.

The licensed contractor you select is responsible for providing the applicable construction contract, license information, permit documentation, statutory notices, and construction warranties required by Florida law. Pllana does not provide construction warranties and does not guarantee a contractor's work, licensing, or insurance.

If you have questions about construction liens, roof-related statutory notices, or contractor warranties, please raise them with the licensed contractor before signing their construction contract. We encourage you to consult a Florida construction attorney if you have legal questions about a construction contract.

Cancellation & Refund Policy

If you pay Pllana a project-management or coordination fee, the fee, payment schedule, and refund policy will be stated in your separate written project-management agreement. If no fee has been paid, no charge is owed.

Florida's home-solicitation-sale rules under Sections 501.021–501.055, Florida Statutes, may apply if your project-management agreement is solicited and signed at a place other than the seller's place of business. If those rules apply, you will receive the required notice of your right to cancel, and the cancellation process will be described in your agreement. Nothing in these Terms waives any statutory cancellation right you may have.

We do not state that all payments are automatically nonrefundable or that your statutory cancellation rights are waived. Any refund depends on the terms of your signed project-management agreement and applicable Florida law.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Pllana's liability for any claim arising out of or relating to our project-management and coordination services shall not exceed the total amount you paid Pllana for the specific service giving rise to the claim.

Pllana is not liable for the acts or omissions of any third-party contractor, including construction defects, delays, or property damage. The contractor's own insurance and warranties cover construction work. You agree to look to the contractor, not Pllana, for any construction-related claims.

Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes any liability that cannot be limited or excluded under applicable Florida law, and nothing here waives any non-waivable statutory consumer protection right you may have.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The effective date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of the website after any update constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

Material changes will be posted on this page. We encourage you to review these Terms periodically.

Governing Law & Dispute Contact

These Terms and any project-management agreement with Pllana are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to conflict-of-law provisions.

If you have a dispute or concern about these Terms or our services, please contact us first at (727) 314-2757 or Pllanaroofing@gmail.com. We will make a good-faith effort to resolve your concern promptly.

If a dispute cannot be resolved informally, it may be submitted to binding arbitration in Pinellas County, Florida, in accordance with the American Arbitration Association's Construction Industry Arbitration Rules, unless you prefer to pursue a claim in a court of competent jurisdiction. Nothing here limits your right to seek emergency injunctive or equitable relief.
